Join the Tufts Iranian Students Association (ISA) in celebrating Nowruz, the Persian New Year, a vibrant tradition marking the first day of spring and symbolizing renewal, hope, and new beginnings. Nowruz has been celebrated for over 3,000 years across Iran and many regions of Central and Western Asia, bringing communities together through cultural rituals, music, food, and shared joy.
This special event will showcase the richness of Iranian culture through traditional Haft-Seen displays, Persian music, cultural presentations, and festive activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the meaning and symbolism of Nowruz, experience authentic traditions, and connect with students and community members in a welcoming and celebratory environment.
Whether you are familiar with Nowruz or experiencing it for the first time, this celebration offers a meaningful opportunity to honor cultural heritage, foster community, and welcome the arrival of spring together.
